The 2003 Weston Summer Chorus rehearsals are Tuesdays in July, 7-9pm, starting Tuesday, July 1 and ending Tuesday, July 29. The dress rehearsal (required) is Tuesday, July 29, and the concert is Thursday, July 31 at 8pm. All rehearsals and the concert will be held in the Air-Conditioned Parish Hall of Norfield Congregational Church.

Weston Summer Chorus 2003
Singers needed in all voice parts. The first annual Weston Summer Chorus will perform Charles Gounod's St. Cecilia Mass, and other music on Thursday July 31 at 8:00 pm. Chorus membership is open to anyone high school age and up. Rehearsals are every Tuesday in July from 7:00-9:00 p.m. beginning July 1 and ending July 29. All rehearsals and the concert will be held in the Air-Conditioned Parish Hall of Norfield Congregational Church. Singers are asked to contribute a registration fee of $20 to defray costs.

Singers wanted for annual summer chorus
WESTON, CT--The annual Weston Summer Chorus is looking for singers to perform Charles Gounod's St. Cecilia Mass in concert on Thursday evening, July 31. Chorus membership is open to everyone high school age and above.
“The Summer Chorus gives choir members an opportunity to sing a major work in the summer, when most choirs do not meet,” points out Ellen Dickinson, founder and conductor of the Chorus. “This is a wonderful chance for singers from various church and community choirs to get to know each other, to share great music, and to learn more about choral singing.”
Ms. Dickinson is the Director of Music at Weston’s Norfield Congregational Church. She has also served as Acting Director of the Yale Glee Club, and as Director of the Yale Summer Chorus and Yale Freshman Chorus for three years. She has taught and directed choirs at the University of Bridgeport and New Haven's High School in the Community. She holds the Master of Music degree from the Yale School of Music and Institute of Sacred Music, and is an active organ and carillon recitalist.
Chorus rehearsals are scheduled from 7:00 to 9:00 PM every Tuesday evening in July, beginning July 1 and ending July 29, in the Parish Hall of the Norfield Congregational Church in Weston.
